Art
Activities |
|
Craft activities
help children learn to listen and follow
multi-step directions while completing a fun
project to take home. They are able to practice
fine motor skills using scissors, glue, markers,
and crayons. Children paint each week, and a
variety of techniques are presented. |

Play |
|
Each of our days
has a “Free Choice” time. We have new play
equipment and do go outside to play when the
weather permits. All classrooms contain climbers
and other large play equipment as well as table
games, blocks, housekeeping areas, and sand
tables. |
| |
|
|
Snacks |
|
We provide
refreshments each day. Parents are encouraged to
provide snacks for birthday celebrations or
other occasions. |
| |
|
|
Music |
|
Singing, musical
instruments and CDs for motor movements and
dance are used on a daily basis. |

Story Time |
|
Reading a story
is a wonderful conclusion to our school day. We
use a variety of literature appropriate for each
age group. |

Our 4-year-old
students walk to the Batavia Public Library each
month for story time. Other field trips may
include visits to a pumpkin farm, police
station, firehouse and a local play production.
